Rachel Volkman Kushel
Rachel Volkman Kushel is a graduate of Friends’ Central School, the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, and Temple University School of Law, cum laude, where she was a member of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review. Attorney Kushel represents management in a variety of labor and employment matters. She represents clients before administrative agencies in addition to representing clients in employment litigation in state and federal courts and at arbitration. Attorney Kushel also represents school districts in special education matters. Prior to joining Durant, Nichols, Houston, Hodgson & Cortese-Costa, Attorney Kushel worked for six years in the labor and employment department of a large Philadelphia law firm. She is admitted to the Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and is also admitted in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Second and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Kushel is a Board member of the Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County and Chair of its Human Resources Committee.
